it's been a while since i last posted anything. mmm friends from Seattle stayed over for a few days, took them sight-seeing. one of them had never heard of In-N-Out before :O so we took them there and they loved it.
On New Year's Eve I hung out with the group, planning on going to downtown disney. we watched sherlock holmes, then ate at the buffalo wings place where we saw Ms Hartley and Mr. Mayley, then went to downtown disney. We discovered parking was $20, and being the cheap people we are we turned around and headed for Diamond Plaza. At diamond plaza all the shops were closed, so we went to Yes Plaza, where a bunch of chinese people were. the performances were kind of lame, and we didn't really bother counting down, but it was fun. then we went to andy's house to pick up some poker chips and the Wii, and headed for Jou Mei's house. there we played poker and wii and Mafia till about 4:30AM. Funny thing was, Scott was killed for 6 games straight in Mafia, and no one ever saved him. then i got home at like 4:50, and my parents were just like "whatever" and didn't get pissed or anything. score.
this break didn't really feel that short, but it felt really fulfilling. I've done what I've wanted to do, and saw most of the people i wanted to see. i have a few New Year's Resolutions that i hope i'll stick to this year :P and i'll be working on the second song.
